I am happy to report that I have 2 great books to read over the weekend!

A week or so ago, I ordered Raven Grimassi's The Cauldron of Memory, which is all about retrieving ancestral knowledge & wisdom through pathworking & your DNA. This book finally arrived in the mail this morning!

Last night, I started reading a book I have on loan from the library called Time: Its Origin, Its Enigma, Its History. This book is pretty self-explanatory lol.

These 2 books are both amazing resources for my research into Time & Magick. I'm very excited to be reading them, and hopefully I will have enough time set aside this weekend & upcoming week to finish them both.

I am really excited with my research so far, because for a long time it was very hard for me to find anything about Time Magick out there. But Grimassi's book is all about learning rites, wisdom, and knowledge from your ancestral path by pulling the past to you. Time Magick in essence! At least in my eyes.

Also, for some reason, I'd never thought of looking for books strictly written about time itself. I was so hung up on finding books having to do with time AND magick, that I never stopped to think about reading views & opinions on just time.

I was in the Occult section at the library (which is pretty shameful, lol) and I turned around and saw a shelf full of books just about time. I grabbed the most interesting-looking one off of the shelf & started reading! :)

So for now, I am off to read! Hopefully I will be back to blogging soon! <3

My Vernal Equinox/The Cauldron of Memory

Yesterday was the Vernal Equinox! I had a great one. I went for a 3 mile walk in search of a casting space. I went down near a creek I used to hang out at as a kid and I think I found the place I want to cast at. However, I'm going to check out the creek at a park in town as well. I've been looking for a casting area near a creek for a while now, as I have a few rituals/spells that require one. Also, I've always felt strongest and most open to the world and the Universal Power when near a rushing creek.

I also discovered a book yesterday that is a breakthrough in my research. Raven Grimassi is a respected Pagan author who I have heard of many times, but I have never had the chance read any of his books. This is soon changing as his book The Cauldron of Memory is number one on my Need-to-Read list. The book is all about retrieving ancestral knowledge from the past through pathworking and other methods to bring the past to you, rather than traveling to the past yourself. I cannot wait to get a copy of this book! I haven't been this excited about a book since The Deathly Hallows midnight release.

I ended my Vernal Equinox with a nice Fire Divination session with 2 of my casting buddies! :) It was pretty interesting. We'd never tried a Fire Divination before, and it was successful. We used methods out of the book Natural Magick by Sally Dubats.

I haven't been updating this as much as I'd like to recently, but I thought I would write a post for the Equinox! I'm off to the sunshine! <3

Working Names - PaganSpace Post

Lately, if I have a Pagan related question, I post it to the forums. Today I had one regarding Craft Names, and I thought I'd also share the question here...

A while back, I was reading an Ann Moura book called Grimoire for the Green Witch and read about Craft Names of which there are 3: Craft Name, Working Name, and Eke Name.

The Working Name is supposed to be a secret name that you reveal to no one which is bestowed to you by your deity(ies). I put thought into these things at the time, but over time stopped thinking about it as much.

Last night on my walk, I was letting the wind guide me, and I experienced something very interesting. I was addressed by what I see as Gaia, Mother Earth. She called me by a name that I have never heard before, but knew was mine.

I'm wondering A. if anyone has heard of Working Names before (I've heard that Ann Moura isn't very credible) and B. if anyone can tell me if I just received mine?

Element of Air - PaganSpace

I've made a post on asking people what different sorts of things they think I should do for my Elemental Air Training. I'd love any suggestions, so if you have any you can feel free to leave a comment on my blog or the post itself:
